Q.  Why do I need a refresher course?

A.  IDEM is passing legislation to require Re-Certification for all Backflow Assembly Testers.  Anyone not re-certified before their expiration date will be required to retake the complete BPAT course.  Taking this class better prepares you for the re-certification exam.

The program consists of 6 hours of classroom instruction immediately followed by a 60 question written exam (1 hour time limit).  The written exam has 2 parts, requiring a 70% or greater on part 1 and an 84% or greater on part 2 to pass.

* Students are responsible for bringing their own test equipment!

* The cost is $110.00 per student.  There is a minimum of 10 students to offer a class, up to a maximum of 25 per session.

* Class starts promptly at 7:00 AM, includes a working lunch (all students are required to bring their own lunch), and ends at 4:30 PM.

* In the event that a class is not filled, all applicants will be automatically scheduled for the next available class.
